We are pleased to announce that Logicor has been awarded the National Framework Agreement for Smart Heating Systems. The framework was awarded to us by The Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust Commercial Procurement Services and we are the sole supplier under this framework.
The framework offers a fully compliant route for all NHS departments and public sector bodies (social housing landlords, local authorities and government departments) free access to the service. This will now save them the time and money developing, tendering and evaluating bids for the systems. This framework is designed to offer our highly efficient Clear Heater System to all members. The benefits of this framework include:
The system is easy to install with minimal distribution and is scalable across multiple buildings and sites. If you would like more information about the fully OJEU compliant framework, please visit the Countess of Chester website at https://www.coch-cps.co.uk/our-services/our-frameworks/ (contract F056). If you have any further questions about our Clear Heater System, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. You can visit our website http://www.clear-heater.co.uk/ or email us at [email protected], please also don’t forget to like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for all the latest news and updates. Today we began the live testing of our new solar and battery, heating and hot water solution which we call our Whole House Solution (WHS). The WHS will involve Logicor installing its products into a home, allowing the customers to pay for them monthly whilst also supplying energy to the entire house. The home will effectively use all of the power it generates from the sun to either charge the battery or power the home directly with excess power being used by the next door neighbour at a subsidised price if they also get their energy from Logicor Energy.
Should the battery need to be charged because there is not enough light to charge it fully, it will be charged from the mains electricity thus making the primary power source for the home the battery. As Logicor’s Clear Heater System is the only phased and pulsed system in the world it is fully capable of running from the power being supplied it by the battery. It’s a system that has been in development for several years now and it’s in the final shake down phase prior to release. After carefully considering every aspect, we believe this is the next idea for Logicor to take forward and bring to market for our new and existing customer. From sea levels rising to more extreme weather the threats posed by climate change have never been so obvious. So if our customers can produce their own renewable energy alongside using a highly efficient heating and hot water system’s than this will be the ideal solution to the problem. As part of our test’s we hope to establish and adverse parameters that may limit the performance of the solar panels and battery storage such that it would inhibit use of this solution. This shake down phase will help us to establish this and with our Clear Heater System now in its sixth year on the market the unique properties it has e.g. pulsed and phased energy, will ensure it doesn’t need to lean on a supply from the homes incoming power rather than the battery. Early data suggests the performance envelope is being exceeded by the system which is very good news. We hope to have a further announcement during the summer on whether the tests have been successful; if they have then we will start the installations during this period. If you would like more information on how they will work or would like to be added to our waiting list, then please get in touch with us. What a fantastic three days we had at time we had exhibiting at Futurebuild 2019. We had hundreds of people visit our stand and show a great interest in our infrared heating system. Thanks to you all, we look forward to carrying on our discussions with you and working with you in the future. If you didn’t manage to catch us please contact us and we would love to have a chat with you about it.
DEVELOPING PRODUCTS AND PEOPLE Logicor Employee Daniel (Technical support) has just passed his Level 3 diploma in IT and Telecommunications Qualification. Studying at Wakefield College whilst working for Logicor, Daniel has learned a variety of different subjects ranging from Customer Care in ICT to Technical Advice and Guidance. This will stand him in good stead with his day to day work in the technical support team. Daniel has said about the course “I am over the moon about passing, when I first started my apprenticeship at Logicor it was daunting talking to customers over the phone and attempting to diagnose issues they might have with their system however over the two years it has taken to complete the course I have gained the skills and knowledge to be able to do this comfortably.” We would like to congratulate Daniel on this achievement; he first came to Logicor in 2015 as part of his work experience from Royds 6th Form and impressed us with his work ethic so we offered him a two year apprenticeship after he had completed his A Levels. In this time he has gone from strength to strength to become the most senior member of our technical support team. At Logicor we always believe in training and helping our staff members to become the best they can be through various internal and external training courses. Supporting Daniel through this course is just one example of how we do this. We will continue to look for job-specific training courses that will develop both the individual and the business.
