Reduce, Reuse, Recycle We all have a part to play at reducing the demands we place on the planet and avoiding unnecessary energy use. We can achieve this by making simple changes to our daily routine such as switching off lights when we leave a room or walking and cycling for local journeys instead of using the car. There are many more ways of reducing or even avoiding your carbon emissions.
The Energy Saving Trust website provides some useful tips on saving energy:
Save energy, water and money with Logicor products Reducing our energy consumption and protecting precious water resources are two simple steps we can all take. Logicor's energy and water saving devices can play an important part in achieving these goals.
Switch to renewable energy Natural forms of renewable energy surround us in the UK and are clean, safe and won't run out like oil, coal and gas.
Switching to a renewable energy supplier is a great way of supporting cleaner energy and further reducing your carbon footprint. If you're not convinced that renewable energy is a practical option read Greenpeace's " 6 myths about renewable energy " report. Carbon Offsetting Some CO² emissions may still be unavoidable and buying carbon offset credits is a way of compensating for the damage caused by these unavoidable CO² emissions. Offsetting contributes towards projects that make an equal reduction in emissions elsewhere. Offsetting won't reverse the damage caused by your emissions but the damage can be balanced by the offset. Before choosing to offset your carbon emissions it is important to first reduce or avoid your carbon emission where possible.
